Glossary

A Glossary is a knowledge resource that manages the names, meanings, boundaries, synonyms, and identifiers of terms used in a subject domain. It provides a common foundation for participants to use the same terms with the same meanings.

In SimpleModeling, the Glossary connects Object, Knowledge, and Literate Models. By mapping concepts appearing in each model to shared terms and identifiers, it enables formal structures, knowledge structures, and natural-language narratives to refer to the same concepts.

The Glossary is not merely a list of terms. It is used as a connection point through which domain experts, developers, and AI collaboratively construct a Domain Model and identify inconsistencies between models or ambiguities in terminology.
