Development Process

A development process is the entire set of activities involved in building, deploying, and maintaining software systems. It encompasses planning, modeling, implementation, testing, and delivery as a systematic flow of development activities.

In SimpleModeling, a development process is defined as a combination of a development method and a process style. This structure allows the separation yet integration of structural and operational aspects of development. The resulting artifacts are organized as core elements of the BoK (Body of Knowledge), forming the foundation for AI-assisted knowledge reuse and reasoning.
