Definition
A Knowledge Model structures the concepts, semantic relationships, classifications, rules, evidence, sources, and related knowledge in a SimpleModeling Model primarily so that generative AI can retrieve, explore, relate, and interpret them.
SimpleModeling
The direct user of a Knowledge Model is primarily generative AI. People use it through interaction with generative AI to search the Model, receive explanations, follow semantic relationships, and deepen their understanding.
A Knowledge Model is not merely supporting material that stores evidence or provenance for an Object Model; it is an independent constituent of a SimpleModeling Model. It is also distinct from a Literate Model, whose primary form is natural language for people. The Glossary connects meaning and identity across the three Models.
