Definition

An Embedding is a numerical-vector representation of text, terms, Model Elements, or related content that enables computation of semantic similarity. It is used for similarity search and candidate retrieval.

SimpleModeling

SimpleModeling uses Embeddings as derived representations for searching the BoK and Knowledge Models. Similarity helps find candidates; it does not establish concept identity, canonical meaning, classification, or evidence. Those are verified through the Glossary, RDF identifiers, ontologies, and sources.
